The #1 wine in all of the land? Wine Spectator says Columbia Crest’s Cab is at the top of the heap. Founded in 1983, Columbia Crest has grown from a small winery in a relatively unknown wine region to one of the most significant wineries in the U.S. and a major force behind Washington state’s emergence as a world class wine region.

Their brand website uses color schemes and backgrounds to help sort out the tier-driven sub-branding. Flash tiles help make the experience seamless. And the Entertaining section includes their proprietary “Cork & Fork” recipe area with recipes from cooking luminary Bobby Flay.

The wine website design goes mobile, with the Cork & Fork brand recipes available via an app interface that features exclusive recipes from Chef Bobby Flay, wine pairing recommendations, a unique shopping list feature and easy entertaining tips. With the “Shopping List,” users can store selected recipes in an easily accessible list for future shopping trips. When the list is accessed and a recipe is chosen, the user is presented with a complete grocery list for the recipe, adjusted to the number of preferred servings.

This selective pairing of mobile and web technology helps shape the Columbia Crest brand, and bring its content to customers in the channels that make most sense.
