It came as a design and content challenge. What would you design for “album art” if unencumbered by the directives of actual musicians, their band name, their genre, or even the fact that most people don’t buy albums anymore. In fact, perhaps the visual art can precede the audio it celebrates.
The result is this pure creative expedition, complete with fictional band names, that became a promotional booklet of actual CD sleeves, each so evocative you can actually hear some of these musicians that don’t even exist.
